So if you could rate yourself on your skill level with games what would you say you are? And what games are you good at? How about multiplayer? As for myself I would probably consider myself above average gamer. I can be really good at games if I choose to be, but going through so many games I tend not really max out my skills for a particular game. I always get distracted, and if I like the game I will put enough effort into them to get pretty good, but nothing amazing. I am pretty good at first person shooters, third person adventure/action/shooter, platformers but I am not very good with racing games, or RPGs. I guess with RPGs it goes a lot into my attention span, or lack of effort that's why I don't really play RPGs with the exception of some. As for racing games I am just not good in general, and tend to usually play them on easy, or medium. Simulation racers I am ok at but I generally use quite a bit assists. Don't know why I guess it's all the multitasking shifting, and paying attention to all other details. Funny thing is I think I should be better at games since I've been playing my whole life but just realized I can be lazy at times. So anyways probably say above average gamer with potential to be real good if I put more effort into it, what about you guys?
Depends on the game. I will be realistic here and say I am not the BEST at any competitive game, since that title goes to a select few who play a certain game day in and day out. I am far too much a gaming enthusiast of most genres to be like that.
I would say I am among the top Battlefield 3 players. I used to be pretty great at Tony Hawk's Underground. And I am generally good at most Singleplayer games and such.
Decent, for the most part, but I have my specialties. Games like Sonic Generations, I've ranked in the top 25, and Streets of Rage 2, I can take down mania difficulty without any problem.

I alone have assassinated hundreds of people, and combated thousands of soldiers across a nearly 1,000 year time period. I have journeyed across Tamriel and fought beasts and creatures of all kinds, and battled Sorcerers and I have mastered all forms of spellcraft. I have fought in all theaters and battles of World War 2, on all fronts. I have shot through outlaws and criminals in the Wild West. I have BEEN a criminal in the big city of Liberty City and the State of San Andreas. Of course im a good gamer!
I don't think too highly or lowly of myself when it comes to gaming. I'm mostly accustomed to shooters, sandboxes, and other action/adventure games. I'm decent in most online shooters, though I don't really play those anymore. I pretty much suck at racing and fighting games. There's some simple ones that are easy to play but I'm always crashing and getting my ass kicked respectively. I honestly like to just enjoy games versus being challenged, but I'll tackle the hardest difficulties on some games, mostly for trophies, but it is pretty satisfying conquering the highest difficulty a game has to offer. In all I havn't accomplished anything too extraordinary, but it's all been fun and that's pretty much why I game.

I recently struggled with why I played games and got burned out but I've been recently discovering why I always had a special place for games!
I can get good at some games with enough time and effort. But I just don't have the drive to try and 100% any game and get really good at it. I very much lack the patience for that.
I'd say above average. I'm great at sports games and FPS. I'm not great with MMO's (probably my worst genre). I consider myself pretty decent with RPGs, as I use beating Demon/Dark Souls as kind of an indicator of that.
Thing is that games are broad in both genre and even within control scheme and game play within the same genre so it's hard to tell. You might be extremely good in Counter-strike but not at all in Left 4 Dead despite them both being First Person shooters.
There are some games I'm good at, and some I'm not so good at, it's just natural. That being said, I'm currently into Dark Souls right now, and I have not yet cried like a little bltch.
I can get pretty good if the game interests me. Adventure, rpg's and 3PS are my cup of cocoa. Never felt the need to platinum a game even though I like to explore and do side suests. I don't care for multiplayer but can do some damage in a good co-op.
I consider myself to be an 'intermdiate casual' type of gamer. Far from a noob but not trying to be a 'no life' hardcore gamer either, lol.
