How i made loads-a-dough off Nintendo's propoganda machine!

So it seems the Wii is too popular to purchase?NOT TRUE!

Ebay has £300+ listing for something with an RRP of 179.99, lol. So as i got my Wii for 170 a year ago i thought i would sell it due to its lack of use at home. I walk into CEX and ask for the cash trade in price and am given a shocking answer of £225 WTF!!!talk about bad business do these guys not know that they will be selling Wiis for £150 in a few months lol (especially when Nintendo stop holding back stock to bump up interest).

So naturally i sold it and the games and walked away with £400 or so. Great i thought...ill get 1 next year when mario cart comes out for £150 and get games for £5 after investing £40 on that thing that enables you to get games for £5 (i wont go into detail lol).

I then thought "this is open to exploitation" out loud in the shop and the sales girl winked at me...she knew what i meant. So i took a trip into a little village about 50 miles away where i knew there were loads of old biddys and a game shop that does not get much custom. i then walked out with 5 Wii's DISCOUNTED to £155 a piece...brand new lol. a couple more trips back and forth netted me a fat wedge of 20's. I even had one guy pay me £270 for one while i was waiting in the q to trade it in.

Now you would ask why i dont i put them on ebay...well i dont like ebay much...it kinda feels like gambling (i know its more of a phobia).

Well the point of this is to make other people aware of 2 things...1)Do not pay silly prices for this console it is not worth more then 180 anyway...regardless just wait. 2)if you have time and cash take advantage of the shops that are trying to rip off customers like Computer Exchange are-unlike alot of place though their sell price is linked to buy price so they give you lots for them as well as selling them for silly prices. GAME on the other hand (who i hate with a passion) will give you nothing for a trade in and sell the machine for crazy profit!

Anyway i hope someone else can benefit from this like i have...share the wealth i say!
