How is Elizabeth alive in Burial at Sea?

*BIOSHOCK SPOILER ALERT*
In the memories of Booker of the time before he forgot he was Comstock, he tries to steal Anna from the Booker in the other universe but when pulling her through the portal her head gets severed, meaning Elizabeth could not have come back to Rapture to teach Comstock/Booker a lesson.

Does that mean that Elizabeth is from an altogether alternate reality? If so, why would she need to teach Comstock/Booker a lesson?

Don't ask yourself questions about the Bioshock Infinite plot. Just nod politely and play on.

It has one of the longest and complicated plots. So, watch out. And some missions are completely unnecessary too.

Yeah, there are an infinite number of Elizabeths. An Elizabeth saw this event take place and saw that Comstock after decapitating a baby decided to hide and erase his memory for what he did. She couldn't stand for that, so she made him pay.

Yeah that title is kind of a spoiler. It makes sense she's alive because she can just go into other worlds/time periods or whatever. I do wish Infinite explained things more but I think it still makes sense. Hoping this next expansion will help answer it.

A good idea when playing Bioshock infinite is not to ponder to much over the story elements and the DLC, Because its not going to go any place good or where it can make sense. Levine has taken what most call artistic freedoms in making it all hang together.

Those complaining I spoiled the DLC with the title: Elizabeth doesn't die in Infinite, and you see her less than a minute into the game. So use your f*cking heads next time.

You do know there's another episode of the DLC, right? It isn't unrealistic to think that might have some of the answers...
