How long does Blockbuster rent out video games for?

Two weeks. One week technically, but they can no longer charge late fees, so you can keep it an extra five days before they charge you for the price of the game. Even then, you can still bring it back with a 5 dollar re-stocking fee. So it effectively becomes a late-fee. The total time you can have the title before your debit or credit card is charged is 10 days. He said you're in the 90's because you're using Blockbuster, not Gamefly. Little does he know that Blockbuster, unlike Hollywood Video, is attempting to adapt to the current video game and film rental climate, and doing so quite well. I prefer Blockbuster. For some of us, a consistent monthly fee isn't warranted. When you rent 5 games a year, a subscription isn't necessary.
