How long is Metroid Prime for Gamecube?

15 hours on your first try. or 15 hours again when you want to complete everything. I personally indulged myself in the game, and read everything and searched for everything on my first run through, ending up at 30 hours played. I know, nuts. Then I did a speedrun in 5 hours on hard without glitches xDLethalhazard
And you beat the Omega Pirate on Hard? You have my respect sir... I was laid up after surgery when I played that game through, and the **** Omega Pirate almost sent me back to the hospital!
"Prime" is one of the top five games in my book, of all time. Worth every minute and every inch of "backtracking"... for some reason in "Prime", I just didn't care about that game-lengthening tactic... SUCH a great game!!!

agreed! My first playthrough took around twenty hours, with 72% item completion. But that was years ago, when the game first came out.My most recent 100% items and scans Hard mode playthrough took around five and a half hours or so.
Took me about seven hours the first time with 100% items. The second time I got 100% scans too so it took me about eleven hours. I average about three to four hours now on 100% item runs. My best time with 100% items was just under 2.5 hours. I never do any% runs because I like getting everything. It takes me about the same time on Normal or Hard difficulty since the only thing different is the amount of damage you take.
On the topic of the Omega Pirate, there is a trick to getting him to do his regenerative phase right away when you enter the room. The trick then is to only cause a certain amount of damage to him so he moves to the next Phazon pool instead of fully regenerating. You can find videos online of how to do this. You can defeat him in about a minute this way.
