The orginal Xbox was discontinued years ago so apart from a few sports games you will never see any new games.

The PS2 is still getting several new games to this day, and may be supported for several more years because it is still selling alot of systems.

sony is in an awkward spot. by still supporting the ps2 they might keep more people from buying the ps3. on the other hand, the supplemental money from the ps2 can help offset the damage the ps3 did to them financially.

anyway yeah the xbox is a ghost while the ps2 still has plenty of games being made for it, and actually some interesting ones like persona 4.

Xbox is done, PS2 still gets ports.

Personally, I haven't run out of great games on the PS2. Just recently ordered a lot I didn't get the chance to play for very cheap. Might wanna do that.

Thats pretty much what I was going to say. I think if things keep going the way they are now, '09 could be the year of the PS3. Itll finally be able to stand on its own feet, and Sony will officially beable to discontinue PS2 games.

yeah the xbox isnt getting anymore games except sports ones i think while the PS2 is still continually getting games. They probably wont discontinue the making of PS2 games until the PS3 is holding the market pretty well on its own

Microsoft stopped making first-party games for the Xbox 3.5 years after the console was released. It's kind of outrageous if you think about it.

The Xbox has been dead as a doornail for years, the PS2 is still getting new games and some of them are even exclusives.
