How many games do you play at one time?

I've noticed a trend that a lot of people will play multiple games at one time. However, for some reason, I can only play 1 at a time. I'm an RPG player, and if I like a game enough to continue playing it, I want to play it from beginning to end without the interruption of a storyline from another game.

So how do you multi-game players manage it? How many games do you usually play at any given time?

It depends on what I feel playing right now. For example, I am playing Brutal Legend (just to beat it and gain achievements), GTA IV (just to beat it and gain achievements as well) and Street Fighter IV (because not only do I love SFIV, but I enjoy taking on other gamers that are equal of my skill or better than me for the sake of improving myself). So it really depends on the situation.

i play around 3 games at a time

Usually just one at a time. Maybe two if they're of different genres, or if one is on a handheld and the other is on a console.

3-4 games at a time, if I get bored with one, I switch. Not that hard to do really.

That just depends on my free time I have in a day. Anywhere from 1 to 4 and that is on the PS3, PS2, Xbox, PSP.

As many as i may have bought at the time, I cant focus on one without knowing the excitment of another.

I game based on single player while playing games that are either multiplayer or pick up and play type. Right now I'm playing KOTOR while playing Burnout 3, SSBB, and Mario Kart Wii.

only 2. a console game probaly ps2 and my ds in sleep mode with kirby ready to play when i get bored of the other

I don't play more than two. The only time I play two is in a specific scenario. Say I just beat CoD5 singleplayer on regular, but I also own something like Bioshock that I want to beat. I don't want to go through CoD5 singleplayer on veteran right away after just beating it, so I'll mix in some multiplayer of CoD with some Bioshock singleplayer before I go back to CoD singleplayer.

Alot. Recently I bough Xmen Wolverine (passed it), Batman AA (crashes in the begining when Jokers gets free), Test Drive, Cryostasis, Resident Evil 5.

I use to play six games at one time, but now I've narrowed it down to two games at one time because it was just too much and I want to focus on actually finishing my games.

5 is my max, if I am currently engrossed in an MMO then the MMO+3, the MMO counts as 2 cause it takes up so much time.Im_single

When I was playing Final Fantasy XI (MMORPG as well) I didn't have time last generation to play any of my other games. I have a back log of games that I never got around to playing because of FFXI. I don't know how you do it.

Right now I'm running:

1. Mass Effect - to build-up my saved games, to use in ME2.

2. The Witcher EE Director's Cut - I blogged about my latest high score, and how I found out I could have hit Level 40 with only 1,860 more points, so I will get that Level. The usual ending point for most games is Level 39 or less.

The more I have played are 2 games at a time,no more.

I'm playing at least 5 games right now. But I dunno if I should start playing one game at a time. I like to play RPGs a lot, so I dunno if I should play more than one RPG at a time. But sometimes I feel like playing another game, so I put it in and start a playthrough. Ah, the troubles of being a gamer...

I usually play 2 to 4 games at a time.

Werll just picked up a new game today so I'll be playing that for awhile considering its a 2 disc game.

I usually play at least 2 games simultaneously, and at the most 3 or 4.

Only 1 at a time. I play it till I beat it, then move on to another game.

I really try to do one at a time, although sometimes things overlap if release dates are close together. and even then, it still doesn't go over 2 campaigns at a time.

At the moment, I have 6 Gamesgoing on my PC: MASS EFFECT, MORROWIND GOTY edition, SILENT HUNTER 4 Wolves of the Pacific U-Boat Missions, CHAMPIONS online, and City of Heroes/City of Villains (although that may count as one game making my list 5)

I manage them by simply rotating. I play one game, next day or later that same day, I play something else. My rotations are random, I usually just play whatever genre i am in the mood for.

Usually one at a time because it loads faster where I last left off.

I play one game at a time. I could probably play more, but I like to focus on just one then start on another.

Usually it is two games at a time - one on a portable during lunch and breaks at work and either a console or pc game in the evenings.
