How many people can play on BFBC 2 multiplayer?

I was searching online and could not find, either my eyes or tired or i just couldn't get it. So i just wanted to know how many people can play online in one game at onces and is there a difference between platforms regarding the number of people?

I think the consoles have up to 24 players and PC has up to 32 players.

WE need more peoplep playing the demo. I had a game of 4 people playing.
