Right now I’m buying one or two because that’s what my budget allows but i would really love to get SoT, FC5 AND Kingdom Come before March is out.

I haven't bought a game for the full $60 since GTA V on the PS3. I almost always buy games on sale or secondhand. I try to make use out of PS+ games when I can as well. I use GameFly every once in a while to play through a few games or so for a reasonable price. And I always have a backlog of games to play while I wait for newer games that I want to go down in price.
None. I don't buy games every month. Last time I paid full price at launch was Persona 5, it was worth it :D
It used to be bad but I try to only get 1 new game per month. I'm always picking up cheaper games, though, like used games at Gamestop or digital through flash sales on psn.
How many top priced AAA games do you buy a month?
Don't every month, AAA games are not always that great or worth my taste. And most the Switch games that are AAA I bought last year in anticipation for when I grab the console which grabbed early 2018.
I got my refund for Sea of Thieves, so won't consider that a purchase. That was the last game I 'purchased' that would be considered AAA; the latest Kirby game would be considered in the B budget bracket, and honestly think it's a better gaming experience. Other games I've gotten lately would mostly be in B budget range also_
Only new AAA game that I've bought this year is probably Monster Hunter: World. And it was worth the investment. As I expected from a well received series I've liked for over a decade.
Depends what games are out. It can be 0 or 4. On average I'll say two.
Now I'm been trying to get just one, tops ,2, a month and the rest of my gaming needs I sort them with game pass for the Xbox.
I never buy Triple AAA games at full price, but I am signed up for Humble Bundle so I normally get 1 per month for about $12 bucks. I am sitting at 499 games on Steam so I'm going to save my money and probably buy Xcom 2 as my 500th game! (on sale that is though :D)
Rarely buy full priced games, I will almost always wait for a sale. The last 2 games I bought at full price was bayonetta 2 and mario odyssey. I may buy god of war day one also, but other than that I am fine waiting for a sale, I have a huge backlog so I always have plenty to play
Just bought far cry 5. But before that was probably Mario odyssey. I only buy a handful a year, maybe 4 or 5. I tend to trade them in when I’m done and buy some cheaper games that I missed. I also subscribe to gwg and ps+ so most months there’s at least one game from those I want to play through.
Lately its been 2 or so, but thatll drop soon. I just grabbed AC origins, and ill likely grab Far Cry 5 soon.
OP: zero
indies and 'AA indies' are CONSIDERABLY better
you only buy 4 games a year you said in another thread so let's not pretend for one minute that you have any credibility making such a statement you mong
although what you say is true on the first part of the sentence its not related to the second like at all.
keep in mind I have 34 years of buying games, so 34x4?
Monster Hunter World, and before that Persona 5... Those are the only 2 games I can remember paying $60 for this gen.
Between the 2, I have somewhere around 500 hours.
@Macutchi: He's also said he's never heard of the Uncharted series or Horizon Zero Dawn.... Hard to take someone seriously when they claim that.

well to be fair I have now, I know more about both those games then I really care too at this point

buys 4 games a year, only plays indie games, yet watch how often he'll pop up in a thread slating aaa games he's neither heard of or played, trying to claim some kind of moral superiority. don't think i've ever seen a gs user talk as much shit as he does yet be utterly oblivious to it

One game involves shooting from various firearms, the other involves shooting from a bow/ robot tail. Both from an over-the-shoulder perspective popularised by Resident Evil 4.
It's not that much information to process.
Use to be about 2-3. but easing off now, just a huge backlog.
Nothing more until Street Fighter 30th.
Nothing. I usually try demos if they're available or play at a friend's machine. A newer one is subscription services that offer a games library, but after I tried that once with origin, EA decided to go apeshit, so I aint giving them more of my money. As for the windows store, well, it doesn't work on my brother's laptop(which is the only win10 machine in the house.), so I had to try Sea of thieves somewhere else. And these are the ways I try the new stuff. But the latest game I bought was NMS on a sale
I pay 19€ for my games normally. can go to 29€ or even 39€ if I really really want the game. 1 game every month or less (I play ps plus free montly games too).
I've bought GOW, FC5, and Monster Hunter World in the past 3 months, only because Ivr had more money lately.
Maybe a few a year but never brand new, I always go for a sale on Steam or Humble Bundle or wait until it hits the bargain bin on consoles. I just picked up GTA V for my Playstation 3 for $10
If I spend more then $25 on a game feel I got ripped off. I wait for price drops on everything. I can't bring myself to pay full price for a game if it has dlc. I don't feel like I'm getting the full experience so why should I pay full price? I haven't bought dlc since 2007 and I've never bought a season pass. I buy maybe 6 games a year and 3 of those six are usually purchased on black friday.
I pay full price for about 2 games per year. You can generally find them for half price after just a couple of months.
None, my backlog is WAY too big for me to indulge in yet another one to make me postpone playing those games I alrealy paid money for. I'll buy my next game when my pile is at least a third of what it is now (unless a nice sale comes along, obviously)
Every time a new game i'm looking forward to is due to come out, I keep telling myself "this time ill buy it". And then i don't. I don't think I've bought a full priced triple A game in a long time. Same with the recently released God of War. Never bothered picking it up, not sure i ever will even though it looks great. So to answer your question, none.
