What are some things that you broke or almost broke on account of losing in a game too much?
I repeated bashed my Super Tennis cartridge into a wall and threw it in the garbage

I sometimes throw the game controller across the room. Ive been trying to stop it though by handing it over to someone when I feel like Im gonna get mad.rosesforever89
Benefit of the Wii is its attached to your wrist so you can't throw and break it. :P

Too bad I dont have a Wii then. I usually throw the contoller as far as the cord will let me. Any farther and I would probably yank the console out off cabinet and break it then I would be sad and have to attend anger management.
i think it depends on the game. Sometimes losing makes me better, or makes me realize that i'm doing something wrong, like when fighting a tough boss in an RPG. if i keep on losing, it's time to change strategies...
but it really gets to me if i keep on getting sniped in an MMO Shooter. tough to get better when i only live for 10 seconds. never broken anything intentionally. probably some busted controllers from smashing those buttons a little too hard, though.
I bear defeat a lot less then I used to.
I still can endure chronic defeats in some situations, and occasionnal defeats in most situations...but far less then I use to.
Where I was just plainly learning before, now I need an acceptable reason as to why I was defeated. In a strategy game it is easy to figure such, but in a RPG, it is getting a lot more tedious, as RPG have little strategy involved so if I associate defeat to artificial downtime (MMO) and artificial challenges (rah took you by surprise now you lose XYZ for a death), I may just quit the game now.
I hate losing so much, even thinking about it makes me lose control of my bodily funct....
Oh man! See? I just messed my pants again!
Seriously, I try to learn from each time I lose at a game. Any game. One could think, though, that since I tend to lose so much, eventually I will become the Aristotle of gaming or something, with so many learning experiences.
But no.
I don't lose.GodModeEnabled
True. he never loses. Until he faces me. Then he curls up in a corner, whining and begging for his well being.
I once threw my controller at the wall way back but now i just give the game the middle finger salute whilst I switch the machine off.
With the PS2, i broke a couple controllers.WSGRandomPersonomg on budokai 3 me and my brother would get really intense like when we both used energy beams my brother would always win and he broke like 4 ps2 controllers because the analog sticks would break in half
I never play to win, I play so others lose, because that's where the fun is. I love PvP and I love provoking people in game to start a fight so they both lose while I take the prize.
Sun Tzu says that the best wars are wars not fought and I agree!
The fact that you guys break stuff gives me total pleasure in ruining your fun.
Damn I feel bad but I LOVE it :)
alot wen i die on the mile hi club on cod4 or die mfing on diablo 2 (magic finding) a take the controler and repetely hit my leg with it or just hit my leg as hard as i can i will never smash my keybored its $75 gaming one but yea
O and some times wen i get mad and no ones home i look at porn and do it REAL hard lol
Depends on the game, and situation. Losing half an hour or so of progress due to losing makes me cranky, as does repeatedly losing the same area/fight over and over and over. Most recent example was on PoP: Two Thrones. Don't ever do the 2nd chariot part and subsequent boss fight without sand. Seriously. Don't.
Never actually broken/damaged a controller, when I get really mad I tend to punch the hell out of my couch or legs, and/or swear a lot. Saves me money. :P
