About 90% of my game purchases are used games, and even then I rarely spend more than $25 on a game. The only time I buy a game new is if it has an online community that's likely to die down after a year.

I usually buy used games, because I have the Edge Card from Gamestop. The only time I buy new games is when its a new game I dont want to wait for it to become used.
Only time I buy new games is when I can't find a new copy anywhere. This is mainly with PS2 games though.:P
The only game I have currently that I paid full price for is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Almost all of my games are used.
Never... think it is bad memories of my NES days, that I wont touch anything used... So it is almost like a fobia for me :s
Unless it's a game that I have been anticipating and I know that it will be something I'll play for a long time, like Forza 3, I'll just buy it used. People usually take a new game back within a week or two at Gamestop. I think the last full price game I bought was World Superbike because I couldn't find a used copy anywhere.
70% of my games are used. Buying used, I find, is much better than new. Not only do you now have the game, but you still have money left over for other things! It's very sensible.
only when I can't get it new, however I have a PS2 so most of the games I bought recently are used, but I try to get new. And with me having a PS2 the new games are nearly as cheap as used ones so I may aswell buy them new :P
It's rare that I buy a game used. In all honesty, I actually like to support game developers that I like but this isn't the real reason why I buy new. I personally just don't like my games to be defiled by other hands. If I were the culprit, than that's fine but if I get a smudged up, GameStop stickered, booklet missing used game, my mind starts to go AWOL and I can't take the site of the thing.
The only things I absolutely NEED to have as soon as they are out are Mass Effect, Halo, Gears, and Half Life games. Anything else I can wait until Christmas or until they are cheap (unless reviews herald it as the second coming like GTAIV which I love but good lord it's not THAT GOOD!)
