I would assume that if any GS forum would have an extremely varied age range it would be this one. I myself am 31 and I've been a gamer since Atari 2600. :D

Jeez, you're all just babies :D I started with Dungeons and Dragons when I was in College (ODU) ya' know, the one on graph paper with the funny many-sided dice. hehe.
Just out of college had Pong. :)
Next came Atari.
First computer was an apple. Thought it was amazing when I wrote a HUGE LONG program that made the screen show snowflakes falling down, lol.
then moved up to an old 386 with windows 3/1. Had to do most things in dos. Used a lot of ascii. Played on a place called the ImagiNation Network (INN) that was so expensive I had to share an account with about 5 other people!
Finally came to the internet and first was on AO-Hell. Didn't like that and moved to a network called Crys.
Finally an actual ISP came to our area and got on that.
Had the original nintendo - it was ok. Then got the SNES - LOVED it (favorite game was ZeldaIII: a Link to the Past.- still love it)

Any idea how to do basic Arithmatic? You were born in 1994, 2 in 1996. Few children at that age have the cognotive skills necessary to maintain hand-eye coordination for more than a brief period of time, I mean, if you started at 2, you may be able to complete simple levels by, 3-4, and 5-7 for some. Either way, who the hell played the NES for the first time in 1996? Did you live in Hooverville (HAHA! That was actually funny, even if you don't get it).
22. NES and Atari 7800 (best friend's). I still remember some of the Atari 2600 games that we played. He couldn't afford 7800 games, and then he eventually could, but ironically no longer wished to. Then his dad got a raise and bought him the Sega Genesis-32X-Sega CD combo. Hahahahaha. Now he's knocked up some vegan opiate addict that doesn't realize the FDA requires all pharmaceuticals to be tested on animals. Yeah..collegiate indeed. Some people can never win, ya know?
24, and I started waaaay too young. Started on atari when I was like 3-4, then hit the NES up hardcore when I was about 5-6. Been obsessed ever since.
Never been big on hand held. 21 years of gaming, an ungodly numbr of different systems owned, and one hand held system, a GBA I bought in austrillia to play when I was on guard duty.

maybe he chewed on the controller...would that count? If he ever completed a level in Super Mario 3 by chewing on the buttons, then yes, I suppose so.

Diablo and Duke 3D multiplayer took so many hours of my life it's crazy. And Red Alert. I'd play them online using a program called Kali. I'm not sure if that's still around, I doubt it.
I'm 28 next week, i've been gaming since the Atari2600. I keep buying older games, because i like to collect and i am sick of the new expensive complicated games.
*just bought an NES at goodwill for about $4 :-) now i need some NES games for it (if i can get it to work) I also bought a Sega Genesis for about $4 too, but its going to be my backup sega. oh and i bought some old PS1 games like Gran Turismo, Thunderstrike2, etc for $1 each.
