How old were you when you started to play video games?
I was 6 and my dad gave me a NES for my birthday (still in my closet) and I have been playing since then.

First video game I can remember playing was a system that my cousin had. It used tapes, as in thetapesthat were used in walkmansand you had to rewind them first and then press play to actually play the game. Cant remember what it was called and I was like 5 or something at the time.
But the actual system to get me hooked wasa NES that that exact same cousin handed down to me.
When I started playing I was about 6 years old, at the arcade, I guess. Then came the Amiga 500+ (I was around 10 years old).
I guess around six or eight. I would play on my dad's old Odyssey II system. Anyone else remember this console?muthsera666
Magnavox Odissey 2. I never played it, but it's one of the milestones of home gaming.

Sounds a lot like the Commodore 64 to me.

Would have been 5 or something, on my Uncle's PC probably. Then the Atari5200 in 1982, then the NESin 1985, and I was 10.
Thats crazy your still playing a 22 year old NES, can't beleive it still works. Can you imagine a console today, like an Xbox still working in the year 2023!!! I don't think so.
Check this http://www.thegameconsole.com/videogames70.htmout for a trip down memory lane.

No it wasnt a Commodore 64 after reading the article and seeing the pictures of it in the link you posted. But thanks for trying to help me figure out what it was.
