I've been hearing of Shadow of the Colossus behind a hard-to-find game where some people live. I know my local GameStop carries a couple used copies, but I was wondering if those would deplete soon and become hard to find. I was just wondering if the game will soon become like Ico, being hard to find in stores.

I see it fairly often, though that's me. I live near San Francisco, so im guessing the whole area isn't facing a shortage. The question is rare is Ico where people live?

Well, I live somewhere around Sacramento and theres no shortage (or at least at the GameStop near my house) here either. I'm asking to know if this will be a title people will be looking for in the near future.

It's very rare where I live, but I still found it at EB Games 2 months ago. A single, used copy.

Same with me. Usually it's the greatest hits version, but it's on almost every shelve in every store that sells games.

I think it's pretty rare where I live. Most copies go for about 20-30 pounds (pound symbol isn't valid, apparently) which is around $40-$60.

Really I can get it for 15 bucks I wouldn't spend that much on it. Well I guess if someone wanted bad enough they would.

i'm in alabama, it's not very rare here. it's not like easy to find everywhere, but can be found at one or more locations in a 50-70 mile radius.

I'm not sure why, but shouldn't people be KEEPing these kinds of games? It's like Katamari Damacy, it is very unique and people WILL go back to play it. (But, only if you're not the few who don't like it.)

yea i live near Davis California, in Dixon and i see the game regularly, but yea i could see it becoming a rarity sooner or later since the same thing happened to ICO so it would be a good game to hold onto especially the black label version, im glad i got mine right before it they changed it to the greatest hits version.

Most used games store have 2 or 3 copies, and most department store have about 5 or 6 in the bargain bin.

i don't understand the rarity in Ico. i bought my copy for $3 and the place had like 4 other copies. it's easy to find on ebay and hardly ever a high dollar price and if it is it's because it's in someone's store and they've jacked the price up. auctions are the way to go.

By "rare" I mean for the people who can't get things off the internet and have few gamestores within a few miles of residence.

wouldn't everything be "rare" for those people?

its all over the place by me. so is ico. i went years without seeing a single copy of ico but now i always see a few copies for sale at gs. not too bad a price either. i think it was 15 bucks but no more than 20 or i wouldnt have bout it. tell you the truth since the cristmas season ive been seeing a lot of rare games in stores. marvel vs capcom is everywere but pricey, all resident evils for gamecube are now common as well. i think their trying to get rid of their last gen console stuff so their not hording the rare games anymore. better to sell now than hold on and watch the price drop.

Very rare it seems. I've yet to hear someone say they've even played it, let alone owned it. Hell, up until I joined GS I never even heard of the game

Its pretty common. I still see new copies at some retail stores. As well as used copies at EB Games.
