Swich graphic card to minimum HD4850, or get a HD5XXX-series card, they have DX11 compability.

Medium.

But it could do A LOT better if you just upgraded the graphics card.

You kidding right? Maxing out crysis is easy nowadays. However games like gta iv or saints row 2 or arma 2 or even cryostasis....well its gonna be pretty damn hard to max them. The trick is that most of those games need a powerfull cpu, but crysis "needed" a powerfull videocard. I am using the word "needed" because 2 years now there are videocards that did not exist when crysis came out, and they can max crysis with even better perfomance than the videocards that were out when crysis was released and they could somewhat max it. Crysis? i can max it with no problems. Gta iv? I can play it but not max it and the graphics dont look that good either. Arma 2? Its impossible to max it, especially the view distance. Cryostasis? Well you gonna need a pc with very powerfull cpu (Thats because the stupid game developers dont know how to make their game to run on a dual core cpu, and use only one core)

Yeah thats true but long term the cost of downgrading to Windows 7 32bit compared to the long term ability to just add more ram out weights the short term effect of it. As others have said the Graphics card is the worst area really of that system, if you can upgrade that then thats what I would look at. Is this a system you already own or are looking to get?

Sorry i don't keep up with PC gaming since i use my consoles a lot. Only use my PC for mmo's and one other game, painkiller, which doesn't have high specs to play in the first place.
