Im super pumped, currently playing the first and its ranking really high on my list of games.

The next looks awesome and hopefully theres a forest and they get rid of all these corridors/backtracking.

The first one was a bit gory for my liking. Won't be getting the second unless convinced.

Yes, this game looks like it is most definitely going to deliver and then some. You know how that goes sometimes, though. Still, I am confident that I will love the hell out of this one. Even more so than the first.

I totally loved the first game, played through it a few times, so I'm definitely hyped for the sequel.

I viewed Dead Space as the sequel RE5 should have been so I'm really looking forward to DS2. I think its great that they are lessening the errand boy vibe (I didn't mind it too much but it was so overdone it almost seemed like a parody at times 'You've done A, but B isn't working! Unfortunately fixing B revealed the problems in C! Fixing C revealed that D is completely nonfuctional! ) and giving the main character a face and a voice. Having characters I can relate to really enhances my enjoyment of horror games (which is why I loved the early SH games and Siren). Horror games (and movies) don't scare me but I do emphathize with well done characters. While he died in some really gruesome ways, I couldn't make myself care about the voiceless, faceless protagonist of the original Dead Space.

Sadly i was not impressed by what has been shown in E3. I played the first on the pc and it was amazing, the secod looks like a 1.5, not very improved. Athough i did like the new weapon and the fact they gonna add more scripted moments and varied level design.

As soon as I saw the trailer for Dead Space 2, I instantly went to check out videos of the first as I haven't played it yet, and it's now at the peak of my wish list.

The only thing is dind't like about dead space was that you needed to shoot of the limps to kill the monsters, but i can kinda see why they did that.

stuck on Chapter 10 - Hard Mode.

I had this game since like January my friend let me borrow it and I've yet to finish it once, while my g/f ended it like 10x(including Impossible mode)... I like the game but I play a chapter, once I die I just take the disc out and put in Street Fighter or watch tv... something about this game gets me very angry. But it is an interesting story and I loved the anime prequel, so I'm going to dedicate a day this week to finishing the game.

This could definitely be a great game. The first already had an excellent atmosphere and just needed some work on level design and adding more variety to the weapons/enemies. As long as there's no talk about adding in coop (RE5) or focusing on escort missions (Bioshock 2) I'll keep my hopes up high for Dead Space's sequel.
