I just saw a tv commercial for a Gamestop midnight release

I've never seen a commercial for a midnight release before. That was a first, at least for me. I guess that means that every Gamestop will be releasing Gears of War 2 at midnight.

On a related note, Gamestop has been airing a lot more tv commercials lately. Anyone else notice that?

I've seen posters advertising GoW's midnight release plastered over Gamestop store doors all over my area. They're probably airing more commercials now since it's getting into the holiday season and they want to draw business away from stores like Walmart and Target. Usually when mom gets little Johnny's Christmas list, she'll head to Walmart before a Gamestop.(At least that's what I'm guessing)

It would be nice if they started doing midnight releases for good games.

I mean I wouldn't go, of course, but it would be nice.
