Ya the glory days of gamingis definitlyNOT last gen. However I agree the PS2 had alot of great titles consistently coming out and although technically the PS3 is a conituation of that it really doesnt feel the same.
Not trying to start an argument or anything but now it feels more like its just a handful of exclusives (you may or may not like) and the rest is multiplatform.Same can probably be saidfor X360 for anyone who had a PS3 first/instead of...but thats another topic for System Wars.
I'm playing the PS2 to death still, and don't feel a need for any new gen systems, so those PS2 glory days are still here for me. Agreed on SNES being the golden era.
No, because I'm still playing on my PS2. There's so many games on the PS2 that out of the 200 or so PS2 games on my wishlist, I have only bought around 1/4 of them, and of those I have bought, I have only played around 1/4. Still lots to go~ Milking milking~
I still play the heck out of my PS2! But then, I refuse to invest in current gen systems/games (except handhelds, I did get a DSi). So along with playing my PS2, I still play the heck out of my NES, SNES, GEN, TurboGraphx 16, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and Xbox too!
the ps2 is still going strong. i was playing front mission 4 last night. it still has an epic amount of games for it. id almost say the system is still in its prime based on how many still sell and how many games it has. sure not many good new ones are out but you cant possibly have all the good old ones which if you havent played are technically good new ones. even graphically some games still stand up.
