I need your advice. 1. how can i become a gamer lik his or her selves? and how can i get more involved with this website

Ok so like i want to become a hard core gamer but i do not know how

and i want to spend more time on this site and get my rank up and studd. how can i spend more time on this site

Just find a game you love and start playing. Unless it's Halo 3. We have enough fanboyism.

Um... I don't quite know how to put this.

You can't just decide one day to become a gamer. Unless you geniunely enjoy the passtime, you're better off doing something else. And even then, you can't be the same "kind" of gamer as me, or any one else. Each person enjos different games. I've tried to be a gamer who likes shooters, and I just can't do it.

So I guess my best advice is this: lay a variety of games in a variety of genres. If you find a few you like, keep with it. If not, this may not be the hobby for you.

Play some games, post in some threads.

It's quite easy to become a gamer. Find a game you enjoy playing, and frequently feel like playing. Then, just play it. If you enjoy it, get more games that you like and play those as well. Honestly, becming a gamer isn't hard. If you want to get involved with the site, just use the forums and you might eventually be invited to become a Mod or something.

it will take you a while to be high ranked on this site, years basically. i dunno just own alot of games, make good reviews on the games here. also be active on the site. but to become a hardcore gamer you have to game alot and spend alot of money on games. it has to become your life.

It's not exactly hard to become a gamer, think of gaming as a hobby. You just find a game you're interested in, play it and if you want to play another game, then get it. Just make sure you've got the correct system so that you're not trying to play a 360 game on the PS3 or a Wii game on the DS.

There's a lot of games to choose from on a varity of systems, so it shouldn't be hard to find something you enjoy.

i don't really call myself a 'gamer', but sometimes i use the term 'player' because i think it means something.. that's what you're doing in games - playing, messing about, breaking down, solving problems to uncover the truth. if you want to get into the culture of games, just enjoy what they offer.. "boom! headshot." etc. etc. ;P you know what the headshot is saying? it's saying don't think; don't use your brain, just use power and brute force. destroy the head. there, i broke it down symbolically for you. hehe. it's a social commentary on the acceptance of being dumb.

You want to become ? What the hell. Becoming a gamer isn't like a test or anything, there is no real specific way to do it. It's not like you're trying to become a judo master. Just play some video games and shut up.

I'm flattered that someone actually wants to be a hardcore gamer like me. In order to become hardcore you've got to make sacrifices. You will lose friends, socialize a lot less, play video games a lot more, and expect to buy like 30-50 games a year. Gaming is an expensive hobby. I hope you have a job because asking your parents for money for games just isn't satiate your gaming lust. It sure didn't for me. majadamus
