I need help with a character - Skyrim

Hey everyone,

It's my third playthrough of Skyrim: Special Edition and I am looking for a mage build. So far I have done an assassin (sneak, dagger, bow), and a two-handed tank but now I am looking to do a mage build. I don't know what type of build exactly; whether it be a battlemage, spellsword, etc. Some recommendations on a fun and pretty strong character would be greatly appreciated.

Ps, I have the mod downloaded which gives you 400 extra spells ect so keep that in mind.

are you talking the colorful magic mod? The one with flaming swords and meteor spells? Cause you need that, if you don't have it.

That mod really makes everything better. Actually allows you to make a legit paladin with undead crushing auras and offensive resto spells.

But as for a caster, you could go for a wood elf druid type with the permanent spirit wolf familiar (think that is in that package), one of the many badass staff types from the mod, nature and flame traps for ambushes and a bunch of the poison/vine and/or rock/earth spells including the ebonflesh for defense to mimick the whole barkskin concept. or...

or, go with a demon type. Find some nice horn and wing kits out there, like the dark lilith mod. Get you some coeniculi (i'm sure i spelled that wrong) tattoos and set their glow to red with Xpired's race menu options. Use the flaming swords from the colorful magic mod, flame cloak and the vamp and fire themed magic spells.

also consider animation mods for spell casters - there are a bunch. And there's a mod out there that levels spell power with your investment into a particular track allowing for better damage scaling - can't recall the name of it.

@Ish_basic: Hey I appreciate the comment. I probably should have added this in the question but I am playing on ps4 unfortunately. I assume most of the mods you mentioned aren't available on it but I'll have a look
