Nah, I don't like racing games anyway. And plus then they'd have to start making more hack-and-slashes, beat em ups, and ACTION PLATFORMERS, which would be awesome. Also, there would still be all those sweet RPGs floating around (though I usually only play one or maybe two a year, myself), so it'd actually be kinda cool. I'd like to see that, maybe just for three or four years, but I think it would make more more of a gamer for it, maybe.
Nah..I just keep playing JRPGs. Shooters are one of my favorite genres, though. I just realized this last night after looking at my gamertag. I play a lot of shooters.
i much prefer RPGs anyway, and even if you added them to the list of genres not being made i would still just play my old ones until i couldnt bare it anymore.
No. There's so many shooters out there that are so great it's rare playing a new one that sets the standard. I end up playing old shooters over new ones anyway.
I would not stop playing video games if they stopped making sports games and racing games. However, I want shooters. Shooters aren't just first-person modern warfare video games you know. A lot of games have shooting mechanics in it.
While I'd certainly be very disappointed if they stopped making shooters I wouldn't stop gaming as there are still plenty of other types of games that I enjoy playing.
