Would you stop gaming if the game companies stopped making shooters and sports/racing games?

Nah, I don't like racing games anyway. And plus then they'd have to start making more hack-and-slashes, beat em ups, and ACTION PLATFORMERS, which would be awesome. Also, there would still be all those sweet RPGs floating around (though I usually only play one or maybe two a year, myself), so it'd actually be kinda cool. I'd like to see that, maybe just for three or four years, but I think it would make more more of a gamer for it, maybe.
Would suck for online though :?
The two genres I care the least for and never have played anyway? Obviously not. :PWould you stop gaming if the game companies stopped making shooters and sports/racing games?

My favorite genres are platformers, action/adventure and rhythm games... so... no? I wouldn't stop gaming.
i much prefer RPGs anyway, and even if you added them to the list of genres not being made i would still just play my old ones until i couldnt bare it anymore.
Its funny, a lot of people I asked said they would stop gaming if shooters and sports/racing games no longer existed.
They will always exist >.< they are the most popular genre.
If MGS was cancelled then I would go aggro :P
No. There's so many shooters out there that are so great it's rare playing a new one that sets the standard. I end up playing old shooters over new ones anyway.
