I think I just saw Gamespot's April Fool's jokes...

Under latest news there were articles such as:

"Microsoft comments on rumors and speculation"

"Ea on Dysfuncional Family Play"

"Disney license Bumfights"

and on the ticker it said something about "Rock Band PSP" and eye strain.

Seriously, they should have at least announced a new game, made a post delaying a game that everyone wants or saying something like Alan Wake was cancelled.

Anyway the Disney licenses bumfights was the funniest I thought.

I was actually fooled by the ''Rockband comes to PSP'' joke, i thought ''Hey, if they can bring Guitar hero to the DS... why not?''

I thought the Rock Band for PSP was real. What's sad though is that they probably considered doing one.

The entire thing was just an image with very poor quality which was an instant give away. Last year they put much more effort into it, all the links were real and led to detailed news stories and they even made an entire gamespace for World of Starcraft.UpInFlames

Yeah I noticed the giant image thing as well. I was fooled for a minute at first about the PSP Rock Band thing. I did get a chuckle out of a few things such as the Disney liscense Bumfights and the up-skirt images of Street Fighter IV.

The one year they did World of Starcraft was a very good one.

On the Most Popular games list I thought I saw some game with monkey in the title at #10, but I had already clicked on the forums and when I went back it was gone.jacob2125

I thought there were a few very funny bits. Zork HD was one of them, especially with the teaser screenshot showing a screenfull of text! But I thought the funniest bit was the concept game "Good Touch, Bad Touch" for the DS, with a bunch of kids on the teaser screen.

Still pretty popular, considering it was released on the 24th and I hadn't even realized they were making a new Monkey Island game. :D

That and Zork were good, but I especially liked the Xbox 360 Paperweight add on (also plays HD-DVD's) bit - because of its cultural relevance, you know?

It's a travesty that Escape from Monkey Island was mentioned at all, when there are three other Monkey Island games that were infinitely better than it.

I know I'm late chiming in on this but I just got to the forums. I agree with everyone that better image quality would have had me on the hook for a few seconds longer.

I thought the Wii Fit cheats was GREAT! I got a good giggle out of that one.

That got me. But on the real some one really does need to get on making a game base on The Wire. The Wire is one of the best show out right now, and would perfect for a game if handled by the right people.

The first two Monkey Island games are overrated. Funny and charming, but not nearly as entertaining as the latter two games.
