the other day i posted a topic in gamefaqs saying that cause of MS FF13 wouldnt be released this year worldwide, or at least in NA. everyone said i was trolling and there was no way FF13 could be finished by the end of year in ps3. even after i gave links saying that ps3 was almost complete. what about now'?? thers been some articles already saying ps3 version is 90%done and english VA is complete, so whats delaying worldwide release to next year?? we have to wait for the xbox 360 version to be completed, wich its only 70% yet. why do u think its been delaying till next year?VerdantForce
As for the technical side of things, Kitase explained that the Japanese PS3 version of the game is 90 percent complete, while the 360 version is approximately 70 percent complete. This seems like good news for PS3 owners, but I hope that Square Enix can do just as good of a job on the 360 version.
You obviously didn't read that well, becuase it cleary say's the Japanese version of the game is 90% done on the ps3 not the u.s. version.

When MS announced FF13 was hitting the X360 outside of Japanthe same day asthe farther along PS3 version, it was abundantly clear that money had changed hands. Given that the PS3 version of FF13 lacks the Japanese language tracks (something pretty common in jrpgs provided there's space) I suspect part of the deal is Squenix promising that the PS3 version won't boast anything the X360 version doesn't.
*Shrugs* At least MS didn't lock up exclusivity.
the article says that the jpn version is 90% done on the ps3, not the u.s. version of it, he/she/it is wrong.wizdom
Fixed.
Let's not leave out the possibility of Extraterrestrials among us.
What's a few months anyway? It's not like there's a gaming drought.DarkCatalyst
To be fair, FF franchise has many fans, and people have been waiting for it really long time. (FFXIII is set to break the Guinness World Record of longest game development with previous record holder being FFXII....) so extra months that could've been avoided can be disappointing and agonizing.
Other games can't really replace it.
