i went to pet my dog but accidentally shot my neighbor.

i think its happened to all gamers atleast once

you go to do some mundane thing and you accidentally hit the wrong button or click the wrong item.

like in fallout 3, ive went to open a door and accidently stole a random item and everyone started shooting at me

and i cant say home many times i went to get in a taxi/carriage in gta4/RDR and accidently jacked the ride

any similar stories?

Yeah, I done the same thing in Fallout 3 a couple of times.

Misleading title is misleading....but frickin' HILARIOUS! :D

I am far more likely to accidently tap-toss a grenade in a FPS. I wonder why my pistol failed to fire and about that time the grendade, which is about 2 inches from my left foot, goes off, usually killing me.

Recently, when I was playing Mafia II, I was trying to put away my gun. Instead, I accidently hit the wrong button and fired it.

Police was around, along with the crowd. Crowd got scared and police opened fire and killed me in seconds (too many of them).

I was playing Gears of War; my friend was down-but-not-out.

I ran to him, hitting "X" the instant I reached him! To my dismay, I crushed his skull with my boot, rather than tagging him and saying a sarcastic line to make him get up again.

Turns out I had mistaken an injured enemy in a similar situation for him. :P

Supreme commander, I its Ctrl+L to select all your land units; yet it is Ctrl+K to self-destruct your current unit selection and yeah, hit the wrong shortcut quite a few times... it is visually catastrophic.illmatic87
