If someone insult you online, will you answer back or ignore?

If you play online and some random player have something bad to say about how you play, do you answer back, or ignore?

My friend always like to answer to the point where he forget about the game and justkeep insulting back while i think that its always better to ignore.

How about you?

Ignore them. Unless its really funny in which case i'll engage. But i havent used my mic and had a really funny game session with some random mentalists in a looong time.

I use to talk s*** right back but i'm maturer now and just say LOL and ignore them

Unfortunately I have that personality that forces me to answer back without question! Regardless, I find it fun to enter insult matches with random people though... :P

I kill them and then go sit on their head. (Kneal then stand up, and repeat over and over, on their head) It always makes me laugh.

Oh, and if they live in England then I call them Harry Potter.

I usually answer but not with insults. Never really had people insult me much though.

Ignore them. Why waste time on a 14year kid arguing about a game?

I either mute them or turn the sound off...

I respond back to see their angry response. I never answer with angry/hate/frustration but little things that set people off like crazy, such as: learn to play the game, i'm better than you, maybe you should quit the game, this game isn't for you, even my mom's better, what's this i hear? crying from a loser. LOL. I love it when they explode back with curse words and whatnot. It makes my day. Yea....I know...i'm ****ed up sometimes but its fun.

It depends on my mood but lately i just answer with a UMAD? and that's all.

It really depends on the insult, what mood I'm in, etc.

I usually ignore. Five years ago, I would have bit back but I simply can't be asked to care enough to engage in a pissing contest with some random kid I'm never going to see again. This applies especially to fighting games...The crap that you see on there. If I do respond, it's with the tried and true "u mad", which almost always gets them even more riled up. :)

I usually respond rather harshly just to get them going, then stoke the fire just enough to keep me lol'ing all the way through the match. I never get riled up, but am a pro at getting others to freak.

Im usually the one insulting people for no reason. I just randomly attack people & then after im done i go sit in front of a mirror & jack off to myself because of how cool i am.

( joke, but seriously these people starting verbal beef are narcistic )

I almost never wear a headset. I dont care to argue with people anymore. It sucks the life out of me.

i normaly always engage if it's interesting or funny. if i dont think i will get intertained then i will just let it be

I usually just sit there and laugh at what they're saying and at them in general for getting angry over a video game. Then I just make sure I beat them to the point where they leave :)

I answer back but never go down their level. I always keep in mind that I do want to piss them off but never the way they expect me to.

Whenever I get death threats I respond with "I love you too."

If i really feel a deep insult or if i'm in a snappy mood, only and only then i will go for it.

After decades of gaming, the novelty of using a mic has worn off for me.

I disable voice comms.

It's like phone call vs texting/email, most people just text because of the delayed nature of it, you can have a conversation lasting weeks over text, with people responding whenever they check their e-mail. It's alot more convenient and less disruptive.

Like I'll check my text/e-mail whenever, respond, then not look at it for a few hours.

Really have no patience to hear people online, it's usually little kids going "hur hur I own you" or something.
