What would it be like?
I think I'd make an epic action adventure fantasy RPG with a completely open world and infinite options which would combine story driven single-player gameplay with online multi-player gameplay.
What about you?

Remember Elite?
That, but an MMO.
This has been rumoured many times down the years, if it ever gets made I'll never leave the house again!
An open world, serious zombie survival game. Similar to Left 4 Dead, but with more realistic movement and guns. I would use a shooting mechanic similar to Bad Company 2 or Far Cry 2 (the only thing good about the game) where your gun could jam, bullets fall, that kind of thing. A use of vehicles and a giant map with a cityscape and forests for the purpose of adding in rare enemies that are larger threats. For example, if the survivors ventured into the forest there's a higher chance they can get attacked by werewolves.
I also want a full day and night cycle. At night, you can be attacked by powerful vampires and stuff like that. Character customization for several areas: including appearance and base traits. Perhaps you want to be quick and nimble and only use lighter weapons, or be bigger and carry light machine guns. I figured a good way to set this sort of thing up would be a load out system like Mechwarrior games. Gain the option to strap a side arm to your leg, and the more equipment you carry the slower your character would move. Give it that "survival" aspect where you can't take everything with you without suffering the consequences.
I would shamelessly rip off Left 4 Dead's title and call it "Eight Alive" with 8 player co op :P
hmmm i'd like to do an RPG sort of huge openworld game of the napoleanic wars era where u could decide to be born in any major country in the world such as russia, italy, england, ireland, france, america, spain ect then u start the game as like 18-40 and like oblivion u build your way up in prestige and such and loads of side missions such as if u have enough money and your in england u can purchase a commision in the british army, navy ect or join as a grunt and can travel the world fighting in different wars or just exploring like join the navy and sale to new lands or if u are in jail a some point u may be sent to australia as a convict it would be a big game and i'd like there to be different storys for each nation but i reckon just focusing on england would be best and then be able to expand this into a major MMORPG open world game
It would be an AO game something like GTA, but your goal would be to build the biggest and best strip bar. You build your bar and you have to drive around and hire girls to dance at your club. You'll be able to steal girls away from other clubs and you have to have a good setup or someone would steal your girls. You pick the outfits for them and you slowly work your way up from serving just drinks, to maybe adding a grill to sell food. You go on-line and visit friends clubs and try to help them out. They can pay you for protection. If someone builds a place close to yours then you work on closing them down.
Crime simulator.
In the vein of Hitman's level design, go anywhere and carry out different methods. But here you plan it down to what jobs to pull (heists, armed robberies, straight up murder), the gear your team will use, and where to put your getaway vehicle. I always envision it to come down to player style. The game will allow for the open endedness if you want to do an elaborate Ocean's Eleven-esque heist, a Heat-styled stick 'em up, or something out of Scarface (where you take out the crime lord).
Or if you want you can Dexter it. Kidnap guys and throw 'em in a minivan for later.
A second idea I've always wanted to write or be a part of (for reals) was a four-player co op space opera. It would play like an action-RPG, but each character would have their own place in the story, instead of what we usually have (a copy of the first player). So during the story, not everyone will be on the ground team. One of the character's job is to fly a fighter, while another is a marine planet-side. The events happening during the entire engagement are happening real-time, but they're both seeing different sides of it and working towards one cause. That's something I've wanted to see in co-op.
Easy! I'd like to see a mmorpg with heavily asian based artstyle and culture with a fast paced combat system relying on movement and "skill", (Gunz, Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden combined gameplay). Since I really liked Vanguards way of doing world pvp, I'd have to copy that. I'd have lots of world pvp and to not make it too hardcore or too casual, you'd drop some money when killed by someone. (and that other someone would get the money).
It would be an RPG for sure. I would like to begin with the "Origin" Idea that Bioware used in Dragon Age, in which you started out in an area based on your Race. But I would like the origin to have a longer lasting impact.\\
Not quite sure what else. I guess I'll have to think about this for a while.
A role-playing game that recreates the entire Forgotten Realms 3.5D rule-set in video game form. Preferably iso-metric view, so most of the time developing it doesn't have to be spent on graphics and world design, and more time can be spent on making it deep and highly replayable.
But then again, that would literally be impossible, given the sheer size of not only the FR realm itself, but the plethora of rules and descriptors for areas, people, gods and quests.
