If you could only buy rpgs from one developer....

Who would it be? Here are your choices

Bioware: (Star Wars KOTOR, Mass Effect)

Bethesda: (Elder Scrolls Series, Fallout 3)

Square Enix: (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest)

Blizzard: (Diablo, WoW)

Although I have great love for all 4, I personally would go with Bioware. I like the way their rpgs give you the best of both worlds (as in western and japanese rpgs), meaning their games have deep stories while still being highly customizable and allowing you to choose your own fate without compromising either one.

What do you think?

ESP is a Japanese developer - either an in-house at GameArts or just a frequently-contracted team (I'm a little confused of their status and hear conflicting stories) - responsible for franchises like Grandia and Lunar.

Since none of these companies exist anymore, I guess Bioware would be my next choice. I'm not a huge fan of any of the other companies that you listed (they've all turned into "evil money-grabbing game developers", in my opinion).

I'd have to say Bethesda. Bioware does make excellent games, but I've never clocked the amount of hours in their games like I have in Morrowind and Oblivion. The sandbox elements of gameplay are more important to me than story in a lot of ways.

True, but 95% of people would probably pick one of those 4 anyway. It's kinda like how there are lots of other operating systems out there, but the vast majority of people out there use windows or macs, so the others don't really figure into it.

The third game finally came out for GBA in Japan like last year. Funny, because it was originally a 64 title.

I never played Earthbound/Mother games, but I really want to someday.
