If you could remake any old game from the 16bit era, what would it be?

Also, what would you change?

Mine would be Phantasy Star 4 from the Genesis. That was a childhood favorite of mine. I would make the game longer. I always thought the PS games were a bit too short for my liking.

Remake as in, full new graphics, not just crap ports like what Square does... but heres a few I'd like to see on next gen hardware:

Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 for the SNES, what a weird game, but fun.

Super Battletoads

Chrono Trigger (not the crap port they got brewing, a full remake)

UN Squadron for sure!

DuckTales, but it'll never happen unless Disney made a new series

U.N squadron definatley and secret of evermore i think would make an excellent new gen game

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

I wanna see this remade with now age graphics, and I wanna see Aghanim again.

Easy: E.V.O.: The Search for Eden, an evolution based game by Enix on the SNES.

One of the main problems in the game was that there was a "best" thing to evolve to on each level as opposed to trading speed for defense, life for power, or other such thing, so everyone would end up with creatures that are the same within their level of evolution. (Fish, Mammal, etc.)

Another major thing was the musical fact that we got a less-than-30-second loop and a remix of that same song for every song but two after the amphibian era!

The only other annoyance I can think it could do without is the dreaded poison touch enemies. It continues to baffle me as to why they would have this ability seeing as pretty much every enemy in the game did do an attack of some kind.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors hands down. They could have saved scores this time, and could add online co-op and have only one game to play co-op for the DS and PSP.Killermonkey97
