Ohhhh boy.

I've been paying attention to the comments on this story, and it seems a lot of people find Tom Nook suspicious. :D"I can not come up with any legitimate reason that an adult would be playing that particular game..." Hmmm. I can...IT IS FUN. :P
I don't know though I mean I always thought that Tom Nook was looking at me weird. :?

The usual ignorance of fools who hate anyone and anything that doesn't conform to them. I know all too well what pedophiles are like, my childhood was destroyed because of one back in the 80s, I highly doubt they would be playing games when their sick, twisted minds are on the prowl for the innocent. If they are, then they should be found and dealt with before more lives are destroyed.
I like Animal Crossing, doesn't make me a monster though sometimes I feel like strangling Tom Nook with his over the top prices and those annoying bees deserve to be shot, as well as some of the animals who can be very annoying.
There are always morons in the media who hate it when people don't love the same things they do.

I find this quite quite amusing and it's so comically ironic.
Nintendo has tried so hard for years to portray themselves as family friendly, and geared themselves for children. It's a move I HATED, since it's a move that puts general publics view towards game back to toy level.
Now this comment gives small sample of what general public (ignorant part of general public.... but they do take large % of population) sees gaming. It's for children, and not for adults. Like how Trix are for kids, not for rabbits.
The facts don't matter too much when it comes to propaganda. It's all about perspective. How people sees the situation. Even if Animal Crossing is well made game that can entertain anyone, it doesn't matter since to people that are not gamers, it's just children's toy. If 20 year old woman is playing house with her Barbie dolls, most people find it wrong and weird. Same applies here due to how people sees things.
And Nintendo contributed to how people sees games. They tried to make games be seen down to toy level. For casuals, for family, for children.
Just ranting here, but I just find it ironic how things can come back to bite you in the @$$.
So, when I heard the news that every adult who plays Animal Crossing is a pedophile, well, I figured Animal Crossing needed a hero, someone who could be tough on these criminals like they deserve. I made a video of it, of course. Animal Crossing with Rorschach:

But who watches Tom Nook?

You should have used the quote: "Beneath me, this awful city, it screams like an abattoir full of retarded children." :P
I wonder is Pedo Bear approves this topic...
I'm still waiting for the new article that blasts Super mario Bros for allegedly promoting the use of shrooms to children.
Either way, pedophiles CREEP me out.BladesOfAthenaAnd that's the way it should be. It would be weird if you said that you are attracted to them. o_0
That is what happens when you do not research on the game you will talk about. Nintendo is the most protective company when it comes to online games, and things like that could only happen if a kid exchanged FCs with unknown people online, which is something parents are responsible for monitoring. Nintendo, Sony and MS do everything they can to stop that, they just can't educate parents on how to take care of their kids.
That's because you were playing it for the wrong reasons.I only played one animal crossing, it was for gamecube at a friends house, I found it very boring.

Eh, I've grown a deep hatred for the mainstream media long ago, especially when it comes to video games.
I guess he thinks all adults should go into debt, work two jobs and spend their remaining free time watching crappy television dramas.

?, like what, killing things, because I didn't notice that you got to kill anything. To me it felt like a life sim, like the Sims, and I don't understand the attraction to life sims.

It was a joke. Did you read the article?[QUOTE="Cody13_2012"][QUOTE="LordAndrew"] That's because you were playing it for the wrong reasons.LordAndrew

It was a joke. Did you read the article?I got the joke, but I just actually read the article. The first thing I thought while reading it is oh crap, because I live in Missouri and usually the stupid stuff that happens with games is in Utah (I can't believe that game bill is going through, but maybe it won't make it all the way).
