List fails without Persona 4 and Persona 3 is too low on the list.

The only reason ,even now, to own a PS2 is because of Shadow of the Colossus ,so to rank it as #4 is ok.

No DMC1, MGS2 because it's too old? if you count impact they made on the industry, were some of the biggest games.

ZOE2 definetely needs to be on that list as well. Tokyo Xtreme racer 3 and tokyo xtreme racer drift 2 needs to replace burnout and gran turismo 4. GT4 should have been called the fake driving simulator. A bunch of games on that list are names i've never heard of.

It was a pretty obvious list.

It seems like whoever made this list was very heavy into rpgs. Personally, I don't have any problem with that seeing as how I'm a rpg fan. However, I think there are more titles more deserving of the list then say GrimGrimoire. From a rpg standpoint, I would have added Shadow Hearts: Covenant to that list before I would have added DQ8, Disagea or FFXII.

I honestly would have put SSX Tricky on there. While SSX got boring after each new release, I think we can all say that we really loved and enjoyed SSX Tricky.


For life of me I can't figure out why Jak 3 is on the list. The game was decent but it wasn't great. The game was quite buggy and the controls were especially clunky when it came to driving around the desert on your different cars.

Other things that should have made the list:

ZOE 2
Frequency - Because I friggin loved this game and because it was the great predcessor to rockband, guitar hero and all that crap we have now.
A Tekken game - Tekken 5 maybe? I definitely do not approve/enjoy Virtua Fighter. I dont know anyone who would name it as a must have game.

Yeah for sure. I can live with Persona 3 at 15, but the lack of Persona 4 makes this list lame. Dreadful actually.

in your opinion. I think Shadow of the colossus sucks. But the list is only ok. I agree with San Andreas, best game ever...:)

Well at least they got the number 1 right. Best PS2 game by a mile imo. Hell I think it's easily the best game ever made. That being number 1 on the list was a given. Most of the list I disagree with though. They include both God of War games but only one GTA game? No, just no. Resident Evil 4 only number 16 wtf?

Nice to see Silent Hill 2 on there and MGS 3 but no MGS 2??? And San Andreas at #1? No Vice City at all? Both God of Wars made the list and thats not really necessary.

Mmmkay...Guitar Hero 2 was the best Guitar Hero IMO(Madhouse, Trogdor, Cherry Pie and the only good Izzy Sparks to get into GH, Activision killed the man...;_;), but I don't really know if it was worth it...and I'm sick of hearing Shadow Of The Colossus being praised like hell when me nor my friends could beat the first god-damned Colossus in 3 hours of continual play, and San Andreas was OKAY but Vice City was better and it's by no means the best PS2 game...well, you can't spell ignorance without the IGN, I guess. =)

I just don't get how Kingdom Hearts could beat Persona 3, what the hell?

I didn't like half the choices in that list..

Jak and Daxter beats out Kingdom Hearts

Ratchet and Clank beats out FFXII and Dragon Quest 8

No Kingdom Hearts 2, Dark Cloud or Tom Clancy

AND Katamari made the list.

What do they think they're doing??

hahahahaha. in ff12's review it says that kingdom hearts isn't in the same room as ff12 and that ff12 is the best rpg that year. kingdom hearts got a 9 and ff12 got a 9.5 and ff12 is 20th, while kingdom hearts is 9th.

San Andreas is praised beyond belief, way too overrated as well as God of War. FF 12 does should not be on there or should be 25. MGS2 should definitely be there too.

Yea i agree, and there choices for some were rather strange while some fit really well. But IMO there were too many games on there that were multiplatform such as Burnout and RE4 both of which had better more definitive versions on other consoles.
