so...iv been playing the game Splinter Cell: Conviction for the past 4 to 5 days...great game...had its share of issues...but now, im tired of it...and will be selling it next week..

iv found that All of these games that are being released seem to have No replay value whatsoever...or just dont seem to hold my Interest very long at all...Modern Warfarre 2, Assassins Creed 2, Godfather 2, ect ect...they are all games that have the POTENTIAL to be Long Lasting games...but for some reason, the developers always seem to miss the mark in incorporating features that would extend replay value...

the type of gamer i am can be considered Casual...yet Immersive if the game is Worth it. the type of Game im looking for is a game that i can just turn on and Constantly be interested in...perhaps a Sandbox title...with Numerous things WITHIN the single playergame to keep me Busy and Interested...not just a game with a Long campaign mode...a game that makes me say "i cant WAIT to get home to play this game"...

ill give you an Example...Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas...this is one of those games in History that stood out to me as a Lengthy Replay Value title...not only is the story Very lengthy...but the things that you can DO in it pushed the replay value through the roof. in the game, you could have Girlfriends, play pool, play poker, play arcade games, do race track events, customize cars, buy homes, buy casinos, customize your clothing...there was even a mode at one point where you could have a Turf War where other gangs Constantly attacked your turf randomly...it was like a Sandbox version of the Sims...and all these thingst made for some Interesting moments...you never knew what would happen Next...

there are a Few titles i am looking at in the near future...Mafia 2, Red Dead Redemption...but i just have that feeling that they wont have the Replay Value i am looking for....

so if you would...suggest to mea title that you feel has Unlimited replay value...and why....id appreciate it....

Like someone stated, Morrowwind would be good. I got over 80 hours for completing just a quarter of the game. Have you tried that gangster game? I forgot the name, but it's like a wacked out, fun, game about gangs. It's modeled like GTA but it's like the Jerry Springer of GTA. Sorry for not remembering the title. In this game open world/sandbox game, you can do things like throw yourself at cars to collect insurance money, try to destroy as much of the city as possible, car surfing!!! If you like stealthy type games, the Hitman series is really good. All of them have multiple ways accomplishing the missions, and I don't mean that BS crap that Ubisoft keeps bragging about about stealth and non stealth options. I mean, literally there are multiple routes, ways of killing, ways of approach, and there is no holding hands in this game. This game requires actual intelligence and patience to finish these missions. I love the Hitman series. I would suggest Dragon Age because I got like 100+ hours, but it's not the 100+ hours that I want to brag about. If you like RPG's you may like this game. But get it on PC. The PS3 and probably the 360 has too many glitches. Other than that I wouldn't know of any interesting worlds or long lasting game like San Andreas.

looking into Morrowwind, iv never been a dragons, spirits and Demons type of guy O_O but ill leave the door open for anything at this point... had Saints Row 1 and 2, both good games but both got Painfully boring after a Week...same with GTA4...which i only play Online...as it is one of the Best OPEN online games iv ever experienced. to be able to drive around and shoot it out with 12 other people in a Completely Open NYC is an amazing accomplishment.. Just Cause 2 i may pick up next week, i played the demo and liked the Exploration of it all....but it just seems like after a while, it will get boring...as i am bored with the demo already....and like how i got bored with the first one.... i should really look into becoming a game developer...so i can actually MAKE the game i long for...

Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts really sounds like your best bet, with hundreds of differents of ways to tackle the challenges it presents you with, plus an open world format its really an interesting game, and seeing as its all based on user created content its difficulty really is customizable to what you make, so you dont have to worry about getting stuck at hard parts or bored at incredibly easy ones.(except maybe a few of the super early challenges of course, those are al incredibly simple.)

There's a lot of things to do in Fallout 3 and I don't think most people get through everything on their first playthrough.

So I dunno about going back for another round if you manage to play through everything the first time. :(

Even without DLC theres a good 25-35 hours of gameplay with all the sidequests. It does have replay value if you want to start a new character and play the game focusing on a different skill or karma level. DLC for it adds even more time to it. I would suggest Broken Steel and Point Lookout. Also download Doom either using the Doomsday engine or on the Xbox live arcade. It's a great classic that will have take you a while to finish.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are pretty good FPRPGs.(First Person RPG)They last long, plenty of sidequest, and have good character customization. Maybe Fable 2 if you own a Xbox 360.

think ill pick up Fallout tomorrow, it seems to be getting alot of praise....

Fable 2 was good but wasnt as good as the first one...and after a while, got very Boring...like there was no Reason to continually play it...it was like the Sims almost...which is a series i Love but gets very repetitive...

also, someone on another forum suggested the game YAKUZA 3...which is a ps3 game...while i do Not support the PS3 movement (and actually preach Against it), i may have to get a ps3 and check that out....just watched a video review and it looks to be the PERFECT game for what i desire...
