I'm new here

I've lurked now and then here before. Hoping to find a nice, non-hostile community. But I gotta ask, what's with all the Korean posts?

Most places are not hostile; might get a little spirited, sure, but that's it. Just stay away from Political Gamers and System Wars....there there be monsters! Unless you want to get hostile, then go for it :P

As for the Korean posts, that's a recent development. I have been here for quite some time and I have never seen spam like that, and it has been happening fairly frequently. Not too sure why.

I game on Nintendo and Sony consoles/handhelds, I still have my Dreamcast, and I have two gaming PCs (one in office, one in living room). Also love the emu scene.

seems like there's quite a few gaming forums under attack from these bots. they seem to have bm88.me or similar URLs hidden within whatever language the title's written in. google that and you see loads of gaming forums come up in search results with the same spam posts. gamespot's developers need to improve their anti-spam game.

You'll find some that are pretty immature/ hostile, but most of them flee back to System-Wars. Which, I recommend going in at your own discretion.

@RSM-HQ: cool. System Wars would have been a place for me when I was 13, but I'm way beyond that now.

SW posters won't recover from that so easily

@megapsychotron: Welcome to the forums! I have PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. And System Wars honestly isn't that bad as long as you don't take people there too seriously. It's also the most active place here in the forums so most people looking to have any sort of gaming dialogue should try it out. Just don't get caught up in the whole war thing lol
