No it doesn't matter, and yes I would be sadIn a couple years is that $50 going to matter? Would you be sad you don't have an SNES anymore?

Send it to me by mail :D
But on a more serious note, I'd wait. Not only will you have the legendary SNES in your collection, but the price will only go higher in the coming years.
[QUOTE="amsfm6"]No it doesn't matter, and yes I would be sad I think you answered your question right there. From someone who sold an older console unless you really need the money then I wouldn't sell it.In a couple years is that $50 going to matter? Would you be sad you don't have an SNES anymore?

Well if you don't really use it at all then I guess.... I'd never sell mine though, I love it way too much.
it depends on which model, the condition, and the games, some games alone are at least 50 bucks. also if the system is stained yellow from smoke that will also lower the value

Actually, smake isn't the only reason an SNES would be stained yellow. I have one that is yellow on top, and grey on bottom. It is an exact cut off between the top and bottom, and I couldn't figure out how it could do that. I researched it, and apparently the original batch of SNES plastic was different from the later batches and it turned yellow after a while. If you have one that is all yellow, it is probably one of the first; if you have one that is half and half, it is a transition piece; and if yours is all grey and beautiful, yours is newer. Just thought I'd mention that.

No it doesn't matter, and yes I would be sad You have your answer.don't sell it. i remember i sold my sega genesis a long time ago and really missed it. i bought another sega genesis afterwards and all the games i wanted for it :) so i'm happy now. but even though you think you won't miss your snes, chances are prices are gonna keep going up and it'll cost you even more money to get everything you had for it back if you decide to re-buy it.
I never trade in or sell any of my game stuff unless I'm buying to sell (usually intales refurbishing). So pretty much once somethings in my collection its in there for good (I don't want any regrets). And plus, the SNES is one of the best game systems ever. If your bored with what you got get something new.
