IMO, there should be a full-blown Crash Bandicoot reboot/remake.

IMO, instead of thinking about remaking the earlier Crash Bandicoot games, how about a full blown new Crash Bandicoot reboot/remake of a game instead? Won't that satisfy Crash fans everywhere? It'll be much longer as well.

Here's my ideas about it:

1.) Make the gameplay similar to Cortex Strikes Back, Warped, & The Wrath of Cortex, with of course, 2D bonus levels, & extra pathways by Death Routes & by colored gems.

2.) Bring back bosses of Crash 1-3 (Papu Papu, Ripper Roo, Koala Kong, Pinstripe Potoroo, Dr. Nitros Brio, The Komodo Brothers, Tiny the Tiger, Dr. N Gin, Dingodile, Dr. Nefarious Trophy, & of course, Dr. Neo Cortex & Uka Uka). Even bring in Nitros Oxide.

3.) Make main levels at least 60 levels long (5 levels for each boss above), & at least 10 extra levels.

4.) Speaking about colored gems earlier, bring in more colors! We already have Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, & Purple. How about Black, Gold, Orange, Pink, & Silver as well?

5.) And of course, have Naughty Dog develop for it. :)

What are your opinions?

I agree with all points apart from 4 and 5.

Point 4: I would like to see new coloured gems, but gold and silver gems wouldn't really work. Gold would interfer with Yellow and there are already Silver/Clear Gems.

Point 5: Although I'd love Naughty Dog to develop it. They won't, simply because they don't own the Crash Bandicoot franchise any more.

Other than that, if we don't get a reboot/remake of the Crash Bandicoot series. Here's hoping for a HD collection instead.

Let's just get it over with these kind of threads and remake/reboot every game series ever made. The project is already well under way anyways.

i think sony should just buy the franchise back. activision can keep spyro....

Crash 2 was my first PS1 game ever. Been a long time since I've played it but I recall loving it. I'd probably be interested in a reboot or remake.

I'd rather Naughty Dog keeps making new games.
