I think lots of social games have introduced a system similar to slavery, but few MMORPGs have ever introduced such system. As Ive known, the only MMORPG that has introduced a slavery system is Tamer Saga. The slavery system in the game enables people to enslave each other, which then leads to some related player interaction options such as forcing the slaves to work, fawning on the master, revolting against the master to regain freedom, rescuing enslaved friends, etc. I think the system boosts player interaction and surely adds some fun.

I've heard of it. Basically the MMO is the slaver and the player is the slave: he's forced to pay a monthly fee to play and must grind for experience and boring loot all day long. Then one day his master dresses the slave as kung-fu panda to laugh at him.

Not too difficult to pull off. You'd need someone to roleplay the slave salesman (it would be best to have different players for 'slaves', probably of other races, like a group of elves in WoW if the slavemaster is human. Someone else could roleplay as a slave (probably a low level character, in rags/minimal outfit), and whoever 'buys' you from the master can then RP as your master. It'd take some preplanning but could very well be done. As for games with a system already integrated I don't think you'd find it. Not PC and all that jazz.

sort of, Chinese labor camps used prisoners for manual labor during the day, then making them stay up at night to farm gold in online MMOs

Err, there are kids who are being locked in rooms all day who are forced to grind and get gold all day. Does that count?
