I own a PS3,Wii and Xbox 360. I almost never play my Wii. I do play my PS3 a bit mainly because of Motorstorm. But whenever a Multi platform game comes out I always get the 360 version mainly for achievements. Is anyone else like that or am I alone in with this feeling I get when I go to buy games that only lets me buy the 360 version just for achievements. This is not a System War.

I'm positive there are thousands like you. MS has really hit the jackpot with it's Achievement System. It's one of the things I think this gen of consoles will be remembered for.

I dont own a PS3 myself, but I can definately see achievments being a selling point beetween two versions if they are essentially the same game. As the other poster said, think it will be a highlight of this generation of consoles.

If Home's Trophy system is done right then it would come down to what you prefer having, A *trophy* or an *achievement*.

While I only own a 360 right I do plan on getting a Wii and a PS3 somewhere down the road I definately know what you mean. The Achievement thing was a stroke of genius, those things can be quite addictive. As long as there are no drastic differences between versions of a multi-platform game I would certainly go with the 360 version in large part due to the Achievements. Sony's coming out with Home and a Trophy system so I'm really interested in seeing how that will turn out so when I do get a PS3 I'll probably have quite the dilemma of if I want to get Achievements or if I want to get Trophies.
