Is Gameboy gone forever?

Make a Pokemon Yellow and a Pokemon Crystal remake for the Nintendo DS.Legacy_of_Gamef

Right now there's no need for another Game Boy. The DS became much more successful than Nintendo likely expected it to be, and they don't really need to make another system in the Game Boy line at this time. Besides, the DS can still pull off GB-style games like Castlevania and Contra while still having unique DS-style games like Trauma Center and such. It's all just under one umbrella right now, and there's no point in making anything for the Game Boy Advance. :? People have moved on in that regard.MAILER_DAEMON

The N64 Transfer Pak can only play certain Gameboy games, so in a way it doesn't count. I guess if the criteria is "it can play at least one Gameboy game", then yeah I can see why you say it would be one of the consoles that can play those games.

Also, the Gameboy Micro and DS cannot play original Gameboy/Gameboy Color games, so those would not count.
