by that i mean is it on the same fun level as vice city and san andreas. grand theft auto 4 looks boring as hell but the other 2 games seem like they got a good style to them
Definitely not the same level as San Andreas in my opinion. But yes, definitely a ton of fun. I spent hours just messing around in TBoGT playing with the new weapons, shooting down helicopters with the exploding rounds in the auto-shotgun, throwing charges on different things/people, driving new vehicles and flying new helicopters.
Lost and Damned had a kick ass setting too, and driving around shooting at cars and people off of a bike with the sawn-off shotgun was a ton of fun.
Much more entertaing then Grand Theft Auto IV's bland Niko; The story was boring. Niko was boring. The graphics were boring. The gameplay was boring.
TBOGT is a massive improvement in terms of mission structure and just mucking around in the city. TLAD provides a really interesting story that Nikos could not provide. Johnny is very likable and badass, and you will connect with the characters alot more deeply.

Yakuza-Dragon
It is boring trust me. Nothing really compelling about Grand Theft Auto IV what-so-ever.
