it can be eventually, but it eases you in gradually. Easy and normal difficulties are very manageable

hey im new to...GH3 comes out in late october. I have GH2 for the 360 and i beat it on expert...it's not to hard but all you have to do to get good is to practice. there's not a pill you can take or anything....it's practice. at first, yes it's difficult. you have to warm up your reflexes, tho. i highly reccomend it if you got the cash (approx. $100 for guitar and game combo.)

Start with Guitar Hero 2, it has a practice mode and better hammer ons and pull offs. Starts on easy and before you know it, you'll be holding your own on expert.

I think that using the guitar is really fun. I only like playing on hard mode because it's a lot faster and you press buttons more. Plus, medium and easy are too easy and slower. Extreme or whatever the other one was is way to difficult for me.

Best bet: Craigslist.com & buy a used guiter & GH2. If you don't like it/are terrible, you can re-sell it for the same price without being out anything except your time.
