This kind of post isn't necessary on GameSpot's forums. It was still in plain sight and every post should contribute to the conversation.
As long as there is still some competition out there, I'm not overly concerned about EA. When they make good games, they get my business. When they don't, I stay away.
I just wish more people would stay away when they make bad games. :(
as long as good game are being devloped i dont carewallyashashInteresting, I never thought about that.
Im getting sick of EA trying to buy every company up and before you know it EA will be creating a monopoly in the gaming industry.RenegadePatriotEA will not create a monopoly. They cannot afford to buy the like of Nintendo, Microsoft Games Studios, SCEA, SquareEnix, Acivision, or other such mega-publishers.
You see. Ea can only buy companies and names. If they stifle groth and creativity, those developers will look elsewhere, start a new company and the process starts all over again. w

same here, its pretty funny hearin everone bad mouth EA and say they'll never buy (insert franchise here) again, just to go out and buy the newest game of said franchiseLarger companies buying smaller companies. You see this every day, not only in the gaming industry. It is known as Capitalism.Moroes
true...but EA has ruined some franchises...case in point...football, ESPN 2k5 i think it was, WAS awesome...then that year EA bought the liscense for the NFL and they Madden has been the same ever since...nothing has changed in Madden...and it sucks...
