Is it just me or is the Majority of Gamespot made up of 12 year old boys?

I recently joined Gamespot and have noticed most of the posts either have 1. Hideous Spelling Errors or 2. No discussion value whatsoever!

What is it about THIS specific gaming site that attracts a massive influx of preteens?

Users MUST be 13 to join this site. So they can't be 12. Some people cannot be bothered to try to spell/gammer/puntuate correctly. If you want to discuss something then make a topic about it.

But thats just it. It might be some missed keys or something. There are the few who go "so what" to heck with this garbage and post however they like. I haven't run into any of that; and besides, the debates are mostly over silly things like games.

If you think GGD is bad, go check out System Wars. The level of immaturity on display there is astonishing. I've found there are probably about a dozen users on these entire forums that have both the maturity and intellect to create and discuss topics intelligently. I wouldn't consider myself one of them as I've never been good at debating, but it's fun to try nonetheless. If you're new to the boards, stick around....there are users that really know their stuff and make it worthwhile to hang out here.
