I mean been playing wow for almost 1 year now if u join good guild you have to spent at least 6-8 hour in raid 4-5 days week at least

My current guild died on my realm server and few friend of mine transfer to another realm server to harcore raiding guild he wants me go with them but I Don't see is it worth wasting $25 to trasnfer anymore.

Sure lot of people got excited about New ulduar content came out 1 month ago its was fun but now its kinda borning to me now, I mean whats point doing same thing over and over for better gears, after awhile new content or new expansion going to come out and repeat same thing over and over , there are better games are coming out to play in 2009. what you guys think is it worth playing wow now days?

I guess the transfer rate costs so much so people dont do it on a whim lol. That sucks though. Nothing is worse than playing a game or on a sever with a low population. Obviously you are sick of WoW(being bored 1 year in is a really really bad sign). You shouldnt do anything stupid like ditch your gear and delete your account or give it away or try to sell it. You should just set it aside and go play some other MMO. I would think if you were the least bit social and had friends in a MMO the game would never get boring because your just hanging out and questing and PVPing. I know as a solo player I got bored doing the same things over and over. Do you really hang out with your friends or anyone else while playing or are you mostly solo?

I don't know what you could move on to if you think MMO's are tedious, console games are much much worse. I guess the only thing that would offer up constantly new experiences is competitive games like FPS's or Fighters.

Nothing could drag me away from an MMO except its death or a system requirement upgrade.

Well to tell the truth I never really like wow before until 2 of my friend drag me in to wow I though give it try what so special about this game after awhile I did like it but I notice after month goes by now we pretty much doing same thing over and who gets better gears does dps etc lol. both of my friend are really addicted then me. I barely like wow because when u come back from work or school you pretty much can't do anything else beside sit on the chair for 6-7 hour raiding. now both of my friends want me to switch the realm asap.

Well there are better games to enjoy then wow are coming out in 2009,

Quit while the opportunity presents itself IMO. I quit myself almost exactly one month after Wrath of the Lich King was released (after 4+ years of playing it.) The game is a shell of its former self.. its just not even close to being the same game anymore. Its just too easy and overly rewarding for an MMO. Once I found myself playing out of habit and boredom instead of being genuinly entertained I had to quit. Nostalgia be damned, if the game were as good as it used to be id still be playing it...but its not. Plain and simple.

ShinZero

This man speaks the truth.

WoW is nothing like it was. It used to be epic, legendary questlines with awesome rewards. Stuff was tuff, everything that had a decent rewards required huge amounts of team work. I was a casual in Vanilla, and the difficulty was extreme. The furthest I every got was AQ20, but that just made the world seem that much bigger. If you look at the old raid dungeons, so many quests, it required so much hard work and that work only really brought you more together as a guild.

The whole "we want everyone to see the content" is moronic. The content IS THE DIFFICULTY. The content is working so hard for something.

Seeing the story unfold, movies, music, the epic loots... THEY ARE ONLY REWARDS. They are NOT the content...

So how can you possibly make that statement like that? Somewhere along the line Blizzard lost track... WoW was originally made as an easier version of Everquest, one game that wasn't as extreme as EQ, but Blizzard went too far down that path and instead just dances like monkeys who are being thrown cash by the millions of casuals... Casuals who will get sick of the game because nothing is epic anymore.

Content =|= Rewards. Don't try to poop out easy rewards and try and call it content.

Anyway, MMORPGs are in a sorry state atm because of what has happened to WoW, there really are no hardcore PVE MMORPGs and the only hardcore PVP one has one server in europe.

Either way, if you are a casual that likes games like Peggle and Bejeweled (or Wii [*cough* Sports], dare I say it), then WoW will be perfect for you.

I never saw the appeal to wow honestly. I started playing it when co-workers bugged me to play it, when I hit 80, I lost all interest in the game.
