Having traded in games for years now, I found this article to be pretty interesting.

Is it worth it to trade in games?

My question to you, my fellow gamers, is whether or not you trade in games? Why do you or don't you? I find that some games I must have right away even though I know I will eventually trade them and others I will always keep.

yes, i've got a few games that i've never given up, like ICO and DMC 1
but mostly i trade in forstore credit

Back when I was a kid I used to trade in games that I didn't think I'd play anymore. I regret that now. Now I don't sell anything, much less trade stuff in. I don't understand why anyone trades in their systems and games now since you get ripped off so badly.

i used to trade in games a lot when i was younger. it was my only form of income for new games. now after realizing how big of a mistake i made trading in final fantasy 7 for a few dollars and other classics, i guard my games to death.

I used to trade in games but ive got to a point that i have no bad games to trade in.It also depends on the actual shop.If you live in ireland (I do) the best place is smyths toystore but the GAME store rips you off.I went to trade games there and got 3 euro for a simpsons road rage game! I went to smyths and traded in it for 15 euro so it does depend a lot on it

i don't trade in games... i'm more of a collector. plus, i find myself missing the games that are gone.

those of you who do want to trade in, however, please feel free... i buy used most times, and the more of you who trade in, makes for better variety for me when i go shopping :) (sorry, a little selfish...i just love my games)
