Is Project Gotham Racing 3 still better than the Forza series?

I always liked the PGR3 better than Forza 2 because of the in-car view in PFR3. I had the chance to play Forza 3 at Best Buy this weekend and the graphics looked awesome, but the car control didn't seem as good as PGR3. Now I am debating whether I want to get Forza 3- since it has the in-car view, but not sure if it is going to be a big improvement over PGR3. What do other racers who have Forza 3 and PGR3 think?

I also like the system link option and that isn't in Forza 3???? WHY???

I only have Project Gotham Racing 4. And did you hear they're coming out with Project Gotham Racing 5? I won't buy Forza because it's a racing sim. I like arcade racers a lot more like the Project Gotham Racing series.

I think it's really not that easy to say. Although both Forza and PGR lean towards a simulation-kind of gameplay, Forza is still much more realistic than PGR. Because of that PGR is a lot more accessible than Forza if you ask me. Still, I'd always prefer Forza over PGR because I love how realistically the cars behave and the sheer number of awesome vehicles available. Also there are the tuning/customization options of Forza. I think it's really superfluous to say that the graphics of Forza are way better than those of PGR3, because it's obviously much newer. And last but not least, PGR's online is dead. But why compare Forza 3 to PGR3 and not to PGR4?

Absolutely not. PGR 3 was short, easy, is 600p instead of 720p, and runs at 30fps. I rented my copy, beat it, never played it again.
