I'll say futuristic shooters, for the reasons already mentioned. The developers can pretty much use their imagination when it comes to dreaming up weapons and vehicles.
I totally agree that WW2 has been over done, but I prefer them cause I can really get into the comradery of it. While I'm playing I just think that real men, even my grandpa, did this. And COD5 (World At War) is going to be set on the Japanese side of the war, not the European/Nazi. ;)
I like Futuristic shooters more than WWII shooters. Every since I played Call Of Duty 4. But WWI, and WWII are my favorite wars. Anyways yea though, they should make more futuristic shooters. They have been making WWII games for the last fifteen years.
