Is the new mgs: rising also comming for ps3?

I would be pretty unfair if Kojima suddenly made it into a 360 exclusive. The game MGS 'Rising' is officially making its way the both PC and PS3 aswell.

Well, than that is still stupid for them to promise that. I don't care how Sony does, and neither should Konami, especially because Metal Gear is the only huge game they have left.

They had a huge powerpoint slide up claiming the next GTA and MGS4 were going to be PS3 exclusive. I am sure it was pretty big slap on the face to Sony when Rockstar decided to go multiplat. They actually had to give Sony exclusive rights to their next game, The Agent. FFXIII was a PS3 exclusive for a while too.

I think its called Kojima. Kojima has never made a multiplatform game and is not a fan of porting games (the only Kojima handled port IIRC is MGS2 Xbox, which took 6 months and was a process he stated he really disliked).

I suspect Kojima stepped aside because his bosses at Konami told him 'MS is offering us a really big check, so the next MGS will hit both platforms at the same time'.

Its just business. Nobody owes anybody anything. On a related note, I do not believe Rockstar is making Agent to prove its friendship to Sony.

Third parties gave generous support to Sony for two generations because Sony offered platforms with massive installed bases that vastly outsold the competition and boasted fanbases with very diverse tastes. This generation Sony is has a console with a relatively small installed base (largely due to the high pricetag) that trails the competition and MS is chopping its internal talent in order to write massive checks which guarantee same day launches, DLC and windows of exclusivity.
