To my knowledge, not right now. Maybe something will be announced at E3. In the meantime, if you liked that one, you ought to try Ridge Racer Unbounded. I hear they copied the formula word-by-word on that one...what a disgrace. Should have been its own identity and not something else.

Yeah, check out the video review for it at Gamespot. It should tell you everything you need to know. Have fun!
I don't understand thread titles like this. Why couldn't you have just put the name of the game in the title?
I really hope so. I love the Burnout series. Takedown was the best in my opinion but Paradise was great too.

My thoughts exactly. I'd also bet on more traffic here considering people loved Burnout Paradise. Nobody likes threads that try to lure you in just based on pure curiousty of seeing what the topic may or may not be about.
As for the topic, Burnourt Paradise had great reception but i think Criterion didnt see any need for a sequel right away. There probably wasnt a lot they thought they could improve upon. They ended up developing Need 4 Speed Hot Pursuit instead.
Here's my guess: It will have been 2 years this November since Criterions last game, we know it takes 2 years to develope a sequel, a new NFS game releases at the end of every year, my bet is that Critertion will show off their new game ( likely NFS ) at E3 & will release it in Novemeber.
It will either be a new NFS or a sequel in the Burnout franchise. The game industry is super predictable. I just spoiled for it for you guys didnt i?

Not that I know of, but if you really want your BO kick, than play the new Ridge Racer Unbounded. It's quite an awesome game, and has a very decent online infrastrucutre. Can't go wrong with that
I remember hearing something about a new Burnout in development for next-gen platforms a while back, so... maybe?
Is Burnout Paradise really good? I feel burned (pun not intended) on racing games after Gran Turismo 5 was a major disappointment for me, but I might be willing to give it a shot.Vari3ty
It's not really good: it's really, really good. You should play it.

Let's just say no other racer suited the transition from linear tracks to open world better than Burnout
How does that sound?
My friends in the biz(I actually used to play Burnout Paradise with a guy who works for another company that makes racing games) said he hadn't heard anything, but they were actively hiring atm.I thought I read something recently about Criterion hiring for next-gen development.
