I heard its coming eventually...but as it is...Battlefront games are just battlefield games with new skins on them and a few good features cut back, just download the star wars mod for BF2142, and you will bassiclly have your Battlefront 2.
I *thought* it had been announced and that Microsoft had paid big bucks to make it a 360 exclusive, and I recall sending my PS3 owning friend (who enjoyed Battlefront 2 on the PS2 and was looking forward to the next instalment) a message to such effect. However, I can't find a shred of evidence for any of it, and I am completely perplexed as to how I came to such a conclusion if I had not read it from a legitimate source. The mind boggles.
There is a rumour piece from a while back that indicates the game is likely in the works, and I'm sure we can expect it to be on all the next gen platforms. If it's multiplatform, I guess I'll probably go for the 360 version, but it would be nice for the Wii version to have some smart controls.
