Find yourself a half-decent pawn shop. I always see classic games pop up and the general crowd that frequents these establishments is looking for tools or dvd's(or gold eagles). i SAW Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 3 for snes just the other day, in box ,stuffed next to old nin games. Everything from Dreamcast games to turbo-grafx make appearances. Keep your eyes peeled.
Ebay is pretty good. Prices can get high, but if you are serious about it you will fork over the coin for that rare copy of Mega Man 2 in box. Good Luck lil buddy!
your best bet is probably the Wiis virtual consoledante_123456
Yeah, good point. If you are not wanting the hard copies, virtual console is the way to go.

Until your Wii dies. You can find retro games for way less than than you will on VC, and you also don't deny yourself the fun of the hunt.
The union in my sig has a handy directory of good independent game stores, check it out, there may be one in your area.

Yes indeed! The hunt is really what it becomes about. The excite-bike you feel when you see a super rare game tucked in some greasy glass display case is exhilarating. For years i hunted (and found) old NES games everywhere...garage sales, pawn shops, thirft shops. It was such a rush to find Final Fantasy nes in box w/maps in a cheesy pawn shop in a small town. It was at the oinrt where I was ALWAYS looking ..where ever I was. Obsessive...Yes. Worth it...for sure!
