Its an old game. Lots of old games (particularly ones that don't continue selling well) end up becoming available for free, legally, some way or another.

plenty of abandonware games out there. my favourite abandonware game has to be a final fantasy spin-off made by someone other than square calleed FFEN or final fantasy: endless nova. imho its twice the game FF5 wuz
